Welcoming Winter

Winter is here! We finally got our first snowfall that didn't melt away right away, and A couldn't be more excited. She woke her Baba up first thing in the morning to go out and play in the snow. So out they went and once they came back in A did a some school work and made a little bird feeder. For her feeder, she used pipecleaners, and threaded cheerios onto each section, and added string to hang it in the tree.

She has also been quite busy building cozy indoor forts for her and her little sister. MashaAllah it is so nice to see them play more and more together as S grows bigger and more mobile.

We also started some winter reading...

and winter nature journalling- snowflakes!
