My family and I took a ferry ride to the Island yesterday for the first time. It was quite the adventure!
It had lots of little interesting playgrounds and fun splashpads.
Not to mention, great views!
After we got off the ferry we managed to walk half the island not sure where we were going. Then we came across these bike rentals at the center of the island, so we rented one which we used to ride to the other end of the island. It was nice to be able to see the whole island on one day! We were able to figure out where everything was. Believe me we were really tired after that walk and bike ride, so we took a break for popsicles.
Next time we'd like to try the boat rentals, swim on the beach, and possibly visit the mini amusement park. So much to do there!
On the way back to our car, we saw a real life statue (very still!), and some great spray paint art.

ReplyDeleteCool! My mom keeps telling me about how she went there in the 60's and how cheap it used to be. I still haven't gone! Looks like great fun! Masha Allah.
